Tijdens de maand december, van Sinterklaas tot Kerstmis, kreeg het publiek de kans publicaties en edities van LLS 387 en aanverwante initiatieven, aan te schaffen. Dit initiatief werd genomen in samenwerking met Etablissement d’en face (Brussel), waarbij elk jaar een derde organisatie zal uitgenodigd worden om aan het project deel te nemen. In 2013 was dit het jonge editiehuis MOREpublishers (Tim Ryckaert en Amélie Laplanche) uit Brussel. De tentoonstellingsruimte van LLS 387 was getransformeerd tot een tijdelijke winkel die van de drie organisaties publicaties en edities aanbood. BIJNA 100 EDITIES …. draait niet enkel om eigen opbrengsten te vergaren, maar heeft ook tot doel jonge kopers voor de hedendaagse kunst te stimuleren en de aandacht te vestigen op die activiteiten van LLS 387 en Etablissement d’en face, die buiten hun tentoonstellingsactiviteiten vallen. Bovendien worden in samenwerking met kunstenaars producties opgezet die het idee en de potentie van multiples als drager nieuw leven inblazen.

In December, between Saint Nicholas’s Day on 6 December and Christmas, publications and editions from LLS 387 and related organizations were on sale to the public. The sale is a joint undertaking between LLS 387 and Etablissement d’en face (Brussels), and each year a third organization will be invited to take part in the project. In 2013 our third partner was the recently-established Brussels-based ‘edition house’ MOREpublishers (Tim Ryckaert and Amélie Laplanche). LLS 387’s exhibition space was temporarily transformed into a shop offering publications and editions from the three organizations. NEARLY 100 EDITIONS …. is not meant in the first place to produce revenue for the partners but is aimed at encouraging young / future collectors of contemporary art and highlighting those activities of LLS 387 and Etablissement d’en face that fall outside their exhibition activities. Moreover, in collaboration with artists, productions are set up that blow new life into the idea and potential of multiples as ‘support’.
